  1. Separated is like you were living together in the first place  and you guys keep on fighting and arguing and tane comes and say”tui you have to live in the forest tahi you have to now on live up the mountain by yourself so you guys don't distract and annoy other birds in the forest.
2.Snatch means someone has something and along comes another person and takes in off them like it could be a ball a toy truck a car or a bracelet.
3. Introduced kinda means that they stand on top of the stage and say Hi my name is emma I am a year 6 I am 11 years old.
4. Native is like the forest like how the forest looks and how the birds live there and how the forest is green.
5. Bait means you put meat or something in  a box and it could be a trap.

What is the big idea this text is telling us about?
The big idea was that tahi,rua and toru were separated .
What is one fact that surprised you when you in this text?
When tane said that they were going to be  separated.
Taking care of our birds: What is one tip you would like to share?
One tip of taking care of our birds is  not to litter your rubbish on the ground and do not chuck it into our creek even if you see rubbish in the creek it doesn't mean that you could dump more rubbish in because our omaru creek is already polluted.

It connect to our inquiry  kaitiakitanga in nga wa katoa looking after our environment and it is not okay to dump your rubbish in the creek  and anywhere else.
