We have been using a map to find our way around Pt England School.If a visitor asked you how to get to Mr Somerville office would you know what you say?

problem solving week 8 term 2

Helicopter

First of all we were getting prepared to watch  Mrs buchanan do the paper helicopter. Next we got into three groups and got one paper three scissors three paper clips and also three pencils. We had to cut the straight line and fold the dotted lines. The next part we did was to fold the bottom part then put the clip on it. Next we  wrote our name on it and put on the paper clip at the bottom. When everybody was finished we went into the hall to try out our coolest helicopter made out of paper and a paper clip. We got in the hall and we were on the stage flyng our cool helicopter. We were every where in the hall we were on the stage the steps on the floor and some of us were screaming. After all that fun we had to go back to class and continue with our literacy work.

A bike is something that you can ride on to go to places quicker than walking. You need to wear a helmet to keep safe when you are riding a bike. It is safer to wear a helmet on your head before you start riding. To fit your helmet on your head you have to put the strings into a Y instead of a V because it will come off when you start riding.The bike will go faster  if you have more gears on your bike. Bikes have spooks on the inside of the wheel to also make it have a good place into making it move through the inside and the outside. When you go you up  a high hill use your paddles as fast as you can to make up the hill fathers instead of going back down.
