Waka Ama racing does look like it could be a lot of fun! It's great that you would want to give it a go and try something new. You would need to practice a lot before you could go in a race. What sorts of things do you think you would need to practice?
I wouldn't want to be in a Waka Ama race because I'm not very good at swimming and would be afraid of falling out of the Waka!
